The lake of solitude – more than a rainforest lodge, we are a family home, deep in the Peruvian Amazon, 2 hours by boat from the closest settlement.

7 comfortable bungalows (32 sqm):
A bug free bubble, offering a real rainforest experience. Light coloured floating tent roofs maximise the ventilation and keep the rooms cool. 

 

​From the rainforest:
Desks, bedside tables, lamp supports and more are all made of wood from fallen trees – completing the cycle.

 

24/7 electricity:
Solar powered, with a conventional generator backup in case of cloudy days.

 

Free high-speed internet:
In common areas – at meal times and in the evenings.

 

Dining:
Enjoy a mix of rainforest cuisine, Indian and Italian flavours – like our trademark Pizza nights! We accommodate to any meal preferences (gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan).
